Terrain Boards

I have purchased some terrain boards from Silent Invader on the LAF. He intended them originally for the 2nd Afghan War and I have bought his unique converted figures for it as well. The boards are superb and SI is a genius terrain maker. There are more boards on their way to be shown in a later post. I haven't had time to set them all up yet (there are 24 x 30cm square tiles) but here are some teaser pics of just a few boards and the minis.

Very nice, is it an MDF base Martin ?

Hi Frank, yes he builds them on 6mm MDF cut into 30cm x 30cm squares. Very handy for packing away in boxes!

I say Snappy they look the bomb and are sure to enhance your wargame experience. Well done, good score.

Yes, very pleased with them. Wait until you see the whole table-full!

Come on, you should have had these will out and two or three games played by now. To much lounging in that jacuzzi or was it a bow up paddling pool. Never mind we need to see them all in action.
6mm sounds quite thin, presumably its PVA, sand or some other mix on top, is there much sign of warping, it didn't look it from the pictures I downloaded some time back which is good.

No sign of warping, the tiles sit together very well on the table. I'll check the 6mm next time I get one out.

You're right, I should have played several games by now. I'm planning a 'The Men Who Would Be Kings' game first.
