This is a trial set-up for a game to be played later this year. This will be my big game for DevLAM '18. The trial is to allow me to judge how many buildings I need and where they are going. So, you will notice plenty of unpainted scenery, much work to be done yet. However, I'm putting the pictures up because I'm quite pleased with the overall layout.
The vague scenario for this game is detailed in my January 2018 post entitled
'Much-Piddling Home Guard'.
Here is a highly-detailed and neatly drawn scale plan of the layout!
An aerial view of the whole table
The old water mill
The road bridge across the canal
A working narrow boat passing alongside the site of Snapcase Hall (under construction)
Much-Piddling from the canal

Much-Piddling village square
The car park at Snapcase Hall
Jack Jones delivering some lovely sausages to Mrs. Kenwood-Chef
(that van's been there a long time, ooohh errr, missus!)
A view of the farm on the Snapcase estate
The pig pen at the farm
Doug's favourite corner, the Much-Piddling Cricket Club
A view from Much-Piddling
